Predictions and results

Last year I made a prediction about what the top 25 grossing films would be of 2012. It was for a super secret vidding project that I have no realised would cost lots of money and time, so it's on the backburner.
It was still a fun way to predict what pop culture would see as big this year, so here are the results from last year's predictions. I'll include what they actually ranked, and which ones I missed as well. Surprisingly, it was not many. I also used only the US box office, because apparently that's all the studios look at - yes, I'm referring to John Carter and Battleship.
The Avengers (1st)
Dark Knight Rises (2nd)
Hunger Games (3rd)
Skyfall (4th)
Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 (5th)
The Amazing Spider-Man (6th)
The Hobbit (7th)
Brave (8th)
Ted - (9th, wasn't predicted)
Madagascar 3 (10th)
The Lorax (11th)
Men in Black 3 (12th)
Wreck-it Ralph - (13th, yeah I shoulda picked this one)
Ice Age 4 (14th)
Snow White and the Huntsman (15th)
Hotel Transylvania - (16th, not predicted)
Taken 2 - (17th, not predicted)
21 Jump Street - (18th, not predicted, although it was on the first draft of the list)
Lincoln - (19th, not predicted)
Prometheus (20th)
Safe House (21st)
The Vow (22nd)
Magic Mike - (23rd, not predicted, and who woulda thunk?)
The Bourne Legacy (24th)
Argo - (25th, not predicted)
And the ones I missed were
Wrath of the Titans (34th)
Dark Shadows (36th)
Battleship (42nd)
The Lucky One (48th)
Total Recall (50th)
Red Dawn (74th)
*Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter* - Wild Card (83rd)
The Wedding (?)
G.I. Joe: Retaliation (delayed)
So, in the end, I got 16 out of 25, which isn't bad. I could go into reasons why I think the films I missed didn't do well and why I didn't predict the ones that did do well, but I think it's more fun just to get onto 2013's predictions.
