Spend ALL the money!

Oh wow, you guys. So fatigued and exhausted. Wearing a costume is tiring! For those not up to speed, we spent the weekend at Supanova Melbourne, and I spent the weekend in my Doctor Horrible outfit. It was awesome, lots of people were excited to see me, and we got photos and bought comics and saw celebrities and it was a really good time. I'll save the good stuff for below this cut.

amathela was bought a bunch of comics too, but I don't remember them all. I also got New Avengers vol. 1 signed, and the Derrick Storm graphic novel. Brian Michael Bendis was amazing and friendly. He liked my costume!

Speaking of the costume, here's me with a companion the wrong redhead.



I was asked to enter the Cosplay Competition by a random guy dressed as Goku. It seemed like it would have been interesting, but they seemed to take my initial interest as assent. i mentioned I couldn't make it but they registered me anyway. The competition completely clashed with the Jaimie Alexander panel, (which was AMAZING!), so I had a good reason to decline, but I still felt kinda bad about it, as they seemed to have hinged their scene on having Doctor Horrible in it. If I'd known them at all, or if it'd been on at another time, I'd have been down for it, but I wasn't prepared to change my plans completely to accomodate them. Still felt a little bad anyway.

Anyway, I'm exhausted and need to get dinner. So looking forward to Oz Comic-Con now.
